An Instagram Journey Through The USA

October 31, 2014

During June this year, myself and two friends spent 39 days making our way from the West Coast to the East Coast of the USA. With heavy backpacks, 7 flights, 7 long bus rides and 964 too many burgers later – we had explored 13 different cities throughout the USA.

Here are a few highlights of my trip through the USA that made their way onto my Instagram (@endlesslyexploring).

I’ve always been so eager to explore the world but I always seem to forget about the US! I would love to visit Nashville, NYC and DC but other than that I’m not too keen on traveling through the states. But this post changed my mind! Maybe I will come back home to the States after a year in NZ and another year in Germany.

Hi Ilse-Benite, I’m glad this post gave you a bit of an insight to the other parts of the US! I had a blast making my way across the country, each state was different in their own way. Yes, hopefully you get the chance to travel through the States when you get back from NZ and Germany! All the best 🙂 x

Haha! Burgers are necessary to eat in the USA especially on the west coast. I’m hoping you tried In-N-Out! These pictures look awesome – I live in the US and haven’t really thought to do a cross-country road trip. You’ve inspired me to plan something out. 🙂

    • Reply Kelly Ross November 16, 2014 at 1:24 pm

Yes! We did try In-N-Out on the West Coast, as well as Five Guys on the East Coast – so delicious! Glad to hear that you might look into travelling across your home country! I often look past Australia (my home) when it comes to choosing my next destination. I need to start looking into exploring it rather than always trying to leave it 😛 x

What an amazing trip for you and your friends. I’ve always wanted to take a cross country trip across the US but have yet to do so! Next time you’ll have to make way to my city – Boston!

These are all gorgeous. And a Bean picture without a million other people in the reflection? That’s some seriously impressive work!

Great photos and what a brilliant trip. I’ll be making the same journey across the West to East coast, but won’t be flying, all done on public transport, i.e. trains, coaches.

    • Reply Kelly Ross December 16, 2014 at 10:28 pm

Thanks Darren! That’s so exciting, you’ll absolutely love it! We travelled quite often by bus and it was super easy and really affordable! 🙂 x
